Recessed-Center Chips for Label and Insert Builds

Flat chips leave decal edges exposed to fingernails, pocket friction, and stacking wear. A recessed center drops your laminated label or vinyl decal just below the outer rim, so it sits flush with the surface and stays put. That is the entire design principle behind this collection: the recess does the work of protecting the graphic, giving finished chips a factory-molded feel with no raised edges and no edge peel.

Each style serves a different insert strategy. The Solid Color blanks offer the largest canvas at a 36.58mm recess, the biggest usable insert area in the line. The 8-Stripe and 6-Stripe give you classic casino borders with 31.75mm and 31.65mm recesses. The 12-Stripe steps up to a heavier 13.5g chip with a 30mm recess. The 14g Monte Carlo clay composite brings premium heft and a 25.4mm recess for high-end membership and event chips. All are 39mm standard diameter for consistent jig and rack compatibility.

These blanks are purpose-built for adhesive workflows: laminated peel-and-stick decals, printed vinyl stickers, dome inserts, and epoxy inlays. The smooth recessed well bonds evenly with pressure-sensitive adhesives without bubbling or edge curl. Order the insert-ready sample packs to verify die-cut sizing and adhesive fit on production blanks before your full run.

Frequently asked questions

What does "insert-ready" mean?

Insert-ready chips have a recessed center engineered so laminated decals, vinyl stickers, or epoxy domes sit flush with the chip face. The result looks and feels like a manufactured custom chip instead of a sticker applied to a surface.

What size should my labels be?

Match the recess of the style you are using: 6-Stripe 31.65 mm, 8-Stripe 31.75 mm, Solid Color 36.58 mm, Monte Carlo 25.4 mm, and 12-Stripe 30 mm. A decal cut even slightly oversize will not seat; undersize leaves a visible gap.

What insert materials work best?

Laminated vinyl decals are the standard for durability, and the recess also accepts printed paper labels under a clear laminate as well as domed epoxy inserts for a premium finish.

What are the minimums and how fast is shipping?

Minimum order is 100 chips with 100-piece increments, and volume pricing applies on case quantities. Orders ship quickly from Roswell, Georgia.
